Pumpkin Fun

Jeff was home from work on Friday and so we planned a day full of Halloween activities. We had pumpkin pancakes for breakfast, picked out a huge pumpkin for carving, Jeff finished Jack's costume and we went to Aunt Julie's house for trick or treating and dinner. We had a really nice day all the way up to the trick or treating part. I'll shorten a really long story by saying we ended up carrying a screaming, crying robot around half of Julie's neighborhood before packing it in and going home feeling like really bad parents. We hope that Jack is still to young to have any memory of such a traumatic event. We also hope that our memories will gloss over the icky parts and only remember the fun.
