Weekend Update

Some pictures taken during my recent and long blogging break :
The first snow of the season. Notice how Jack is completely geared out and weather appriopriate -- boots, waterproof pants and jacket, hat and gloves. Hand me downs are a great thing, otherwise we would have been totally unprepared.
This is Julia Child's kitchen display at the American History Museum. My mom, sister and I went to see the First Lady Exhibit and had a great time. As a bonus we got to see this:
Heart shaped pancakes with berry "bleading blood" syrup for Valentine's Day:
Sledding with Eli in 7 inches of snow in Farmville. Jack really impressed me; he's usually the kid who's affraid of everything that isn't familiar. We've had a few melt downs while trying to have fun with moon bounces, playgrounds and slides. But, once we kinda made him slide down this hill, he had a great time. He and Eli also impressed me by taking turns to sit in the front.

That's it for now; more later.
