Do you count down the days in an advent calendar or count up the days to Christmas Eve?
If you counted down, you'd start at 24 on December 1 and count down to 1 on December 24.
If you counted up you'd start at day 1 on December 1 and end at day 24 on Christmas Eve.
Wikipedia says to count down, starting at 24 ending at 1 on Christmas Eve. I think that makes the most sense. I really need to know.
