The bright side

There is one good thing about being unable to drive -- I'm unable to spend money.
How much money can I spend if all I can really do is walk to Selby's?
Um, up until this very moment I hadn't even thought about on line shopping.
You know what else I've done for the past week and a half? Watch Twilight, like a million times.
I think I'm starting to get a little bored of the movie so it's time to re-read the series, again.
The first two books are at work and I have to ask Jeff to bring them home. I will then have to incur the barrage of sneers, questions and guilt of why I'm reading the books, again.
Hopefully this weekend will take me to a store when I can buy the third book in paperback. I've read the third book only once and so I feel more justified in getting a re-read.
Things to look forward to:
Project Runway starts tomorrow.
Lily goes to her 2 week check up on Friday and turns 3 weeks old on Saturday. I'm looking forward to her weight check; I need to know how she is growing.
Twelve days until my eye doc appointment -- 12 days to heal or 12 days until being lasered.
Just the rest of this week and then a few days until the start of school and then, hopefully, a more normal work schedule for Jeff.
Things to avoid thinking about:
Jeff working from early until late tomorrow.
Jeff working all day on Sunday.
Most of my maternity leave so far has been unproductive, other than growing a newborn.
The potential colicky baby stirring under the surface of my now peacefully sleeping child. Jeff bounced her to sleep last night. He put her in the Moses basket with a pacifier, held the basket and bounced on the end of the bed for 20 minutes. She fell asleep at midnight.
