The local fire house was on display in the Costco parking lot yesterday. We had to stop. Jack got to sit in two fire trucks and look inside an ambulance. Totally cool.
In the midst of all the excitement I dropped our brand new camera. Bonk, crash, ack, expletive deleted. I said out loud "Daddy is going to get so mad." Which is maybe not the best thing to say in front of a bunch of firefighters who are dedicated to doing justice-- in this case, potential domestic violence.
But my real fear was that every picture of Lily we've taken in her short six weeks of life are on that camera's memory stick. I was worried they would be lost.
As soon as Jeff got home he immediately went into "must fix the technology at all costs" mode. He ended up taking the camera apart into little pieces.
No warranty plus no return policy equals no new camera. We cannot live without a camera. Cannot and will not live without a camera. I guess we'll just have to get a new uber slr camera.
